Preparation of the substrate:
Before applying the ARDEX SK 4 PROTECT cutting protection tape, the waterproofing must be completely dry. The substrate must be dust-free, firm, and load-bearing.

Processing:
ARDEX SK 4 PROTECT cutting protection tape
ARDEX SK 4 PROTECT is glued onto the waterproofing after it has fully dried. To do this, remove the backing foil from the rear side and stick the tape centrally onto the joint area. Afterward, tile installation can be started directly.

Important notes:
ARDEX SK 4 PROTECT must not be used in direct contact with solvent-based waterproofings or adhesives. In particularly exposed areas with aggressive chemical loads and exposure to oils, fuels, or alcohols, technical advice should be sought before use. In case of doubt, a trial installation or compatibility test should be performed.
