Substrate preparation

• The substrate must be clean, dry, load-bearing, and even
• Remove screed and screed wax residues, chemical residues, old coatings, and evaporation-inhibiting agents completely
• Cement screeds must not exceed 4% residual moisture
• Do not apply in case of rising moisture from the substrate

Grouting

• The joints must be clean, dry, free of grease and dust
• After laying, grout joints evenly and thoroughly clean and rinse
• The mortar or tile adhesive must be fully cured
