Priming of cement and calcium sulfate plasters, concrete, aerated concrete, masonry, mineral renders, construction panels, gypsum boards, plasterboard, and fiber-reinforced gypsum boards as a pre-treatment before laying ceramic coverings
Priming of concrete structures, cement, and calcium sulfate plasters before applying liquid floor leveling compounds such as PCI Periplan or PCI Periplan Fine, as well as stable floor leveling compounds and other hydraulically setting mortars

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be solid, clean, and load-bearing. Carefully remove any surface stains, adhesion-reducing surfaces, and contaminants. Freshly installed cement screeds must not exceed 4% residual moisture content, measured with a CM device. Anhydrite or gypsum screeds must not exceed 0.5%, measured with a CM device.

Application

Apply PCI Gisogrund Rapid, a fast primer, thoroughly before use. Shake PCI Gisogrund Rapid thoroughly. Pour the required amount into a suitable application container. Subsequently, apply PCI Gisogrund Rapid evenly and without compression to the substrate using a fine-pored foam roller, avoiding foam formation. After film formation, the color change to approximately transparent, the primer can be immediately followed by subsequent work.
