Application Area

Economical primer based on water-thinnable acrylic hydrosol. This low-odor primer is used for consolidating chalking, lightly sandy mineral surfaces as well as for evening out substrates with varying absorption capacity indoors and outdoors. Suitable substrates include masonry made of calcium silicate bricks, plasters from mortar groups PII and PIII, gypsum plasters from mortar group PIV, and gypsum boards. Profiplus Tiefgrund LF has good penetration ability and provides a reliable surface treatment by equalizing the absorption capacity of the substrate, preparing it for subsequent paint coats.

Application Method

Application with brush or roller. The processing can also be carried out by spraying with suitable spray equipment. However, this requires a perfectly load-bearing substrate.

Pro Tip

Surfaces such as tiles, natural stones, wood, aluminum, glass, and other sensitive surfaces should be protected with waterproof masking tape before painting. Any splashes of material should be removed immediately with water.

Processing Temperature

Minimum 5°C for air and object temperature during application and drying.
