pbr Mineral-based universal adhesive and reinforcement mortar in the webertherm systems A 100, A 200, and B 100
Renovation mortar for overlaying load-bearing plasters
Application area
Thick-layer mineral adhesive and reinforcement mortar in the webertherm A 100, A 200, B 100, and AK 500BK 500 warm insulation composite systems
Renovation mortar for overlaying load-bearing plasters
Product description
webertherm 300 is a factory-produced mineral dry mortar
Composition
Cement, white lime hydrate, classified mineral aggregates, fibers, hydrophobizing agent, additives for improved processing and adhesion to the plaster substrate
Product features
characterized by high adhesive strength and excellent processing properties, highly machine-sprayable and also available as silo material. In combination with the webertherm reinforcement fabrics, a high-performance reinforcement layer is achieved. It can also be used for overlaying load-bearing plasters.
Color tone: gray
Application thickness: 5 mm – 8 mm
Water requirement: approx. 8 l per 30 kg
Storage
Stored in a dry, moisture-protected environment, the material is storable for up to 1 year
Substrate preparation
- The substrate must be load-bearing, sufficiently dry, and even
- The flatness of the substrate must meet the requirements of DIN 18 202 "Tolerances in Building Construction"
- Dirt, dust, and loose parts must be removed from the substrate
- Existing old coatings must be removed at least 70%
- In critical substrates, adhesion tests should be performed
Processing
Processing steps
- The adhesive and reinforcement mortar is mixed with the specified amount of clean water using a paddle mixer until a workable consistency is achieved. The mortar can also be processed with all common plastering machines and silo mixing pumps, e.g., EMP. For applying the adhesive mortar to insulation boards, a special adhesive gun can be used.
Bonding
- The webertherm insulation boards are coated in a frame shape and with two or three vertical strips with adhesive mortar
- The mortar is to be distributed so that at least 50% of the surface is bonded to the substrate after pressing
- On sufficiently even substrates and when using the webertherm speedy and express insulation boards, the mortar can also be sprayed machine-wise onto the substrate in a layer thickness of at least 50%. The insulation boards are pressed immediately afterward into the mortar.
- The webertherm insulation boards can also be fully coated with adhesive mortar
Reinforcement
- The mortar is applied approximately 5 to 8 mm thick onto the insulation boards and troweled flat
- Subsequently, the reinforcement fabric, roughly webertherm 310, is embedded in the reinforcement mortar in straight or horizontal strips without folds using a trowel or float
- The surface is roughened depending on the type of top plaster, e.g., for decorative textured plaster or only roughened
Overlaying plasters
- The mortar is applied to the cleaned or appropriately pretreated plaster surfaces up to a maximum of 10 mm and troweled flat
- If cracks are present in the substrate, the reinforcement fabric, roughly webertherm 310, is embedded in the reinforcement mortar in straight or horizontal strips without folds using a trowel or float
- For thick-layer top plasters, e.g., decorative textured plaster, the reinforcement mortar is roughened with a stiff broom after setting; for other top plasters, it is roughened by rubbing off
