Attention: Before applying Superflex D4, the substrate must be primed with weberprim 801. weberprim 801 should be diluted undiluted with water at a ratio of 1:1 at room temperature. After drying, the surface should be scratch troweled, followed by coating.

Application area:
For flexible sealing of basement exterior walls, plinths, and foundations wall/floor. For subsequent interior sealing. Negative sealing. For sealing containers indoors up to 10 m water column. As a primer and adhesion bridge under PMBC, to create horizontal barriers in and under rising walls, and as an adhesion bridge on existing bituminous coatings. For sealing in conjunction with ceramic coverings, e.g., swimming pools, wet, and moist rooms.

Product description:
webertec Superflex D 2 is a two-component fast-curing flexible sealant with general building authority test certificates (MDS) according to DIN 18533.

Composition:
Cement, selected quartz sands, highly reactive polymers, reactive fillers, additives.

Product properties:

• Reworkable after 90 minutes in wall areas
• Walkable and tileable after 4 hours
• Weather-independent drying within 24 hours
• Dry residue > 95%
• Crack bridging > 1 mm

Consumption / Yield:

• The substrate must be frost-free, firm, clean, sufficiently dry, and free of tar pitch, nests, and open cracks, as well as ridges and other contaminants.
• Remove water-repellent, adhesion-reducing residues.
• Breach edges, round off corners.
• Joints and depressions > 5 mm should be sealed with webertec 933 filler mortar.
• Chamfers at the floor-wall connection should be rounded with webertec 933, radius 5 cm.
• Suction substrates should be pre-treated with weberprim 801.

Application

Mixing process:

• Mixing ratio: A and B components in a ratio of 1:1 by weight, mix thoroughly without lumps. Mixing time: approx. 2 to 3 minutes. Mixing equipment: high-performance drill with paddle or webersys paddle No. 3.

Scratch troweling:

• To close pores and cavities as well as open joints up to 5 mm wide, perform a full-surface scratch trowel from webertec Superflex D 2, mixed with webersys hard quartz 0.1 to 0.3 mm in a ratio of 3:1 according to room parts. The scratch trowel must not be damaged by the subsequent sealing layer.

Floor sealing:

• In at least 2, possibly 3 work passes, each with full coverage. Material application approx. 1.10 kg/m² per mm of dry layer thickness. The coating must have the necessary total layer thickness at every point to withstand the expected water load. The second and third layers are applied when the previous sealing layer can no longer be damaged during application.
