Application Area

Mineral system-tested universal all-rounder for facades. Knauf Lustro is particularly suitable for bonding and reinforcing Knauf WARMWAND systems. Also ideal as a universal renovation mortar for refurbishments.

Execution

Adhesive mortar

The adhesive is usually applied by point or edge bonding with a bonding surface of 40 mm for boards. Press into the fresh adhesive bed within 10 minutes, pressing and embedding. Allow a stand time of at least 48 hours before further work.

Reinforcement mortar

Embed reinforcement fabric fully in the wet surface, overlapping at least 100 mm at the joints. Embed the fabric in the upper third of the reinforcement layer, ensuring complete coverage by Lustro. The layer thickness of the reinforcement layer on wall insulation systems is 5-7 mm, on substrates approximately 4 mm.
