The Knauf SM700 Pro is particularly suitable for bonding and reinforcing all Knauf WARMWAND systems. The special fiber reinforcement provides maximum security. The Knauf SM700 Pro can be natural white or pigmented, as a top coat plaster, felted or freely textured. It is also well suited as a universal renovation mortar for reworking plasters and facades. For special highlights on the facade, Knauf SM700 Pro can also be applied in broom finish or combed techniques.

Bonding mortar

Mineral wool boards must be pressed into the fresh bonding mortar bed without delay, no later than 10 minutes after application. Allow a minimum stand time of 48 hours before further processing.

Reinforcement mortar

Reinforcement mesh must be applied fully to the support, with a minimum overlap of 100 mm, wet-on-wet, close to the surface, in the upper third of the reinforcement layer. The reinforcement mesh must be completely covered by SM700 Pro. The layer thickness of the reinforcement layer on thermal insulation composite systems is 5-7 mm, on substrates approximately 4 mm.

Renovation mortar

To compensate for surface irregularities, SM700 Pro can be applied in a layer thickness of up to a maximum of 10 mm. Embed reinforcement mesh as needed.

Top coat

For felted and freely textured surfaces, apply SM700 Pro in a layer thickness of 2-3 mm after a stand time of 12 days on the reinforcement layer already applied with SM700 Pro. During setting, felt or freely texture as desired.
