Application area:

• As a special primer on anhydrite, cast asphalt, and magnesite screeds for floor leveling compounds and tile adhesives

Substrate preparation:
The substrate must be firm, clean, dry, free of oil and separating substances. The surface condition must meet the requirements of the subsequent coatings.

Processing of PCI Gisogrund 404:
Thoroughly stir PCI Gisogrund 404
Pour the primer and distribute evenly with a fine-pored foam roller, brush, soft-haired broom, or mop on the cleaned and pretreated substrate, and back-roll thoroughly to avoid puddling! A second coat of primer can be applied after the first coat is walkable. When spraying, use a particle filter mask P2. Cement and magnesite screeds with PCI Gisogrund 404, diluted 1:3 with water, to be primed thoroughly in two passes. Concrete substrates with PCI Gisogrund 404, diluted 1:2 with water, to be primed thoroughly in two passes. Anhydrite, cast asphalt screeds, wooden substrates with PCI Gisogrund 404, diluted 1:1 with water, to be primed once thoroughly. For untreated raw wooden planks and chipboard, a second coat of primer is required after walkability is achieved. Old ceramic and natural stone coatings to be primed once with PCI Gisogrund 404 undiluted.
Once the hardened, walkable primer is achieved, floor leveling compounds and tile adhesives can be applied for laying ceramic coverings. A waiting time of 12 hours must be observed on anhydrite substrates.
