Application Area

• For interior and exterior use
• Suitable for wall and floor joints
• Sealing of corner, movement, and connection joints in sanitary areas, including swimming pools and pool surrounds, as well as on balconies and terraces
• Sealing of joints between glass, aluminum, wood, enamel, ceramic, hard PVC, and sanitary acrylic

Substrate Preparation

• The joint edges or bonding surfaces must be dry, firm, and free of dust and dirt. Remove grease and oil with PCI Universal Cleaner from non-absorbent substrates.
• Deeper joints should be pre-filled with an inert DIN Polyband closed-cell polyethylene round cord. The backing material must not be foamed during application.
• Three-sided adhesion on the substrate must be avoided. Bitumen or tar-containing substances must not be present.

Processing of PCI Silcofug E

• Suitable for all common manual or cartridge guns, e.g., from Karl Dahm. For products in sausage packs, special pressing guns including nozzles should be used.
• Extrude the sealant
• Cut the threaded nozzle cap straight
• Unscrew and cut to size according to joint width
• Insert cartridge into the gun
• Inject PCI Silcofug E under flank pressure into the joint
• For angled connections, inject as a triangular joint
• Before skin formation, smooth the sealant with a PCI Gla?ttmittel-moistened suitable tool
• Skin formation occurs within a few minutes. Work in sections as fresh PCI Silcofug E adheres perfectly to already cured material
