Application Area

Weberdur 136 is used indoors and outdoors on masonry according to DIN 1053. All mineral and organic surface coatings from Weber as well as tiles can be applied over Weberdur 136. It can also be used as an undercoat with subsequent dissolvent- and free coating.

Product Description

Weberdur 136 is a factory-produced mineral dry mortar according to DIN EN 998-1.

Composition

White lime hydrate, cement, graded mineral aggregates, blue lime glass, hydrophobizing agent, additives for improved processing and adhesion.

Product Properties

  • Water repellent
  • Vapor permeable
  • Low stress due to a low E-Modulus
  • Provides optimal adaptation to warm-insulating masonry
  • Compressive strength > 25 Nm²
  • Flexural strength > 1 Nm²
  • Yield approx. 900 lt
  • Solid mortar bulk density < 1300 kg/m³
  • Vapor diffusion resistance number   20
  • Dynamic E-Modulus < 4000
  • Water absorption coefficient w < 0.5
  • Capillary water absorption category W 2
  • Fire behavior A1
  • Strength class CS II
  • Mortar group DIN 18550 P II
  • Plaster type lightweight plaster, Type I

Quality Assurance

Weberdur 136 is subject to continuous quality control through internal monitoring according to DIN EN 998-1.

General Notes

  • No additives should be mixed into the mortar.
  • During processing and drying, the air temperature of the materials and substrate must not fall below 5°C.
  • Fresh plaster surfaces must be protected from direct sunlight, strong wind, or moisture.
  • Application and execution according to DIN 18 350 VOB-C and DIN 18 550.
  • Consumption figures refer to minimum layer thickness and may vary depending on substrate and processing. Exact consumption values should be determined by trial patches on the object.
  • Adjacent components must be separated from the plaster system.
  • Remove any surface film before applying additional layers.

Special Notes

Weberdur 135 is suitable as a laying base for tiles and slabs up to a total weight of 25 kg/m² with interior use. Before laying tiles and slabs outdoors, a full-surface reinforcement layer of Webertherm 300 or Webertherm 301 reinforcement mortar and Webertherm 310 reinforcement fabric must be applied over the undercoat.

Approximate Coverage

Approx. 1 mm layer thickness

Color: natural gray

Application thickness: 10 mm to 20 mm

Water requirement: approx. 8 l per 30 kg

Storage

Stored in a dry, moisture-protected environment, the material remains usable for up to 1 year.

Consumption

At 15 mm thickness, approx. 165 kg/m² or approx. 18 m² per 30 kg.

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust and substances that impair adhesion. Densities of substrates such as concrete require pre-treatment with mineral adhesion bridge Weberdur 101 as groove filler. Observe waiting times after plaster base treatment. For special building materials, refer to the substrate table. For unsuitable plaster bases (e.g., deviations from DIN 1053 "Masonry" and DIN 18202 "Tolerances in Building Construction"), concerns must be addressed, and remedial action taken. For level and plumb accurate alignment and finishing, use plaster profiles with profile adhesive Webermix 125. Large-format blocks must be pre-sprayed with Weberdur 100.

Processing

Machine processing: The mortar can be processed with all common plastering machines (see equipment planner). Hand processing: Mix the contents of a sack thoroughly with the specified amount of water until a workable consistency is achieved. Apply the mortar in the specified thickness of approx. 10-20 mm. For highly absorbent or uneven substrates, work in two wet-on-wet layers. The first layer should be about 2/3 of the total plaster thickness. Smooth freshly applied plaster with a straight edge and remove nests. Surface of the undercoat should be prepared according to the intended subsequent coating.

As an Interior and Exterior Bonding Coat

Apply 3-4 mm the next day, and after setting, roughen or scratch the surface.
