Application Areas
Used as vapor barrier and air-tightness layer according to DIN 4108 Part 3 and 7, SIA 180, ÖNORM B 81102, EnEV, and ETAG 007. Part of the Knauf Insulation airtight vapor barrier system, which is certified for its long-term functionality and aging resistance.
Aging Resistance of the Adhesives
Properly applied adhesives with the certified system components are highly aging resistant, with a lifespan of over 50 years, as confirmed by test reports from the University of Kassel, thus meeting the requirements of ETAG 007 guidelines for European technical approval and for timber frame construction.
