Machine Plaster MP 75 L is a lightweight and highly economical pre-mixed dry mortar based on calcined gypsum with special lightweight aggregates. Suitable for porous concrete, lime sand bricks, pumice, concrete blocks, masonry, or porous wall blocks, MP 75 L is ideal because it largely meets the specific properties regarding absorption capacity and substrate condition.
For difficult plaster substrates such as concrete, bonding agents like Knauf Betokontakt or Knauf Spraykontakt are used. For highly absorbent substrates, Knauf Aufbrennsperre is recommended. Usable in all room volumes with normal humidity, including moisture-prone rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms (DIN 18550 Part 2, Section 4.11).

Application Area
Manufacturing smooth, unstructured, or troweled surfaces on interior walls and ceilings. As a base plaster for all types of masonry, concrete, and load-bearing plaster substrates. From basement to roof, suitable for all rooms with normal humidity, including kitchens and bathrooms with household use, e.g., toilets in schools and buildings in hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, and care facilities.
For the production of surfaces in quality levels Q1 to Q4, troweled and Q1 to Q3, troweled, in conjunction with Knauf MultiFinish or Readygips. Published by the Industry Group for Building Plasters in the Federal Association of Gypsum Industry eV and the Federal Association for Interior Construction and Facades in the Central Association of the German Construction Industry.
As a substrate for subsequent paints or wallpapers, as a tile substrate, or as a base for top plaster.
Execution
For manufacturing troweled surfaces, spray the material with a HK trowel, distribute evenly and flush, with an average plaster thickness of 10 mm and a minimum of 8 mm. After the initial setting, smooth with a trapezoidal float and align corners. If necessary, rework with a surface spatula. After moistening the plaster surface with a sponge disc, create a smooth finish and level out small unevenness. After slight setting, smooth the surface with a spatula or trowel.
