KNAUF Red Lime Felt 05 and 1 Fine Felt Plaster with Marble Grain

Marble Edging Plaster as the finest felt plaster or with a free structure for creating decorative fine-textured surfaces on interior wall surfaces. In combination with Red Lime Primer or Red Lime Fine, specially suitable where high building physics requirements are placed on room hygiene, indoor air quality, and living comfort.

Application Area

• In combination with Red Lime Primer or Red Lime Fine, especially suitable when high building physics requirements are placed on room hygiene, indoor air quality, and living comfort
• Mineral surface plaster on Red Lime Primer and Red Lime Fine in interior areas
• Mineral surface plaster on lime-cement plasters in interior areas
• Mineral surface plaster on gypsum plasters
• Mineral surface plaster on gypsum boards and drywall panels

Execution

Apply Red Lime Felt approximately 1–3 mm thick on Red Lime Primer using a trowel or smoothing spatula, smooth or structure as desired, and finish by felting or brushing. For optimal results, apply Red Lime Felt in grain size or textured and fully covering, then let dry. Subsequently, apply a second coat and smooth. The material can later be abraded with the Red Lime Sponge Disc without adding water.

Preparation

For manual processing, mix the contents of the bag with the specified amount of clean water without additives. For machine processing, adjust the water addition to achieve the correct consistency during startup.

Application

Apply the Red Lime Surface Plaster in the specified thickness onto the substrate and smooth with a trowel or smoothing spatula. Achieve the best result with a fully covering application in grain size. Let the first coat dry, then apply and smooth the second coat.

Felting

The applied material can subsequently be abraded with the Red Lime Sponge Disc without additional water. Adjacent surfaces should be finished on the same day.
