Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be clean, load-bearing, free of dust, oil, and grease. Remove loose parts and cement slurry. The substrate may be moist but not wet. Clean contaminated surfaces with PCI Entoumlmmer.

Processing of PCI Repafix

Pour PCI Repafix into a clean mixing container, add the appropriate amount of PCI Repafix, and mix with a suitable stirring or mixing tool attached to a powerful drill until a plastic, lump-free mortar is formed. Use the mixed PCI Repafix within approximately 15 minutes. Pre-wet the area with a brush or trowel. Trowel the mixed mortar densely and deeply as a contact layer into the area to be repaired. For surface application, do not exceed approximately 0.5 m on the matt-moistened substrate. Mix PCI Repafix with mixing liquid (water, PCI Emulsion 2:1, or PCI Repahaft). Work PCI Repafix into the fresh mortar. Immediately apply the remaining mortar and model if necessary. After the mortar has set, the repair surface can be finished with a sponge board.
