Warning Before applying Superflex 10, the substrate must be primed with weberprim 901. As a primer for the bitumen thick coatings, webertec 901 should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 and applied to the previously cleaned substrate.

Polystyrene-insulated highly flexible 2-component bitumen thick coating for secure building waterproofing.

Application Area

For ground-level waterproofing of basement walls, floor slabs, foundations, and underground garage ceilings. Additionally, the waterproofing can be used under screeds for intermediate waterproofing of wet and damp rooms, on unexposed balconies or terraces. The product can also be used for bonding polystyrene foam boards.

Product Description

webertec Superflex 10 is a two-component bitumen thick coating with general building authority approval CE tested according to DIN EN 15814 PMBC in accordance with 18533.

Storage

In a dry, cool, frost-free storage in the original sealed container, the material is shelf-stable for at least 12 months.

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be frost-free, firm, clean, sufficiently dry, and free of tar, pitch nests, and cracking, as well as ridges and other contaminants. Water-repellent and adhesion-reducing components must be removed. Edges should be broken, and corners rounded. Joints and depressions > 5 mm should be sealed with webertec 933.

Application

Priming

webertec 901 should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10. Porous concrete and sandy substrates should be primed with weberprim 801.

Mixing

The base mass and powder component are proportionally matched and mixed with a stir paddle No. 4 to a homogeneous, lump-free mass.

Crack Filling

To seal pores, cavities, and open joints up to 5 mm wide, a full-surface crack filling with the thick coating should be performed. The crack filling must not be foamed by the subsequent waterproofing layer.

Waterproofing

The application is carried out in at least 2 layers. The second layer should be applied as soon as the first layer is no longer foamed. For non-pressing water, layers can be applied wet-on-wet. For non-pressing water on ground surfaces W3E and pressing water W21E, after the first application, weber sys 981 is worked into the fresh coating layer. For waterproofing of the ground slab against ground moisture (W1E), the coating is applied on the ground slab. After drying, a two-layer polyethylene foil is laid as protection and slip layer, and the floating screed is applied on top. For waterproofing against pressing water (W21E), the thick coating is applied with incorporation of weber sys 981 on the clean surface.
