Application area:
Sealant tape for sealing movement and building separation joints in combination with weber bitumen sealing and reactive sealing, mainly in the ground-contact area, especially for semi-detached or terraced houses with continuous floor slab

Product description:
webertec Superflex B 240 E is a sealing tape consisting of two parts: elastic area made of soft PVC, adhesive area made of side-sealed polyester fleece

Composition:
Polyester, bitumen-compatible soft PVC

Product features:

• Resistant to UV exposure, weathering, diluted acids, and alkalis

Application instructions:

• The sealing tape is installed in the sealing plane of the thick coating, e.g., webertec Superflex 10
• The sealing layer, approx. 2 mm thick, is applied on both sides of the joint, approximately 20-30 cm wide; the joint is prepared; then, the sealing tape is laid in fresh-on-fresh condition with the wide fleece side facing the wall, followed by troweling in the appropriate layer thickness
• When bonding the tape, ensure that the tension zone of the adhesive remains free
• Joint ends, miters, and connections, e.g., connecting the end stops, are made by thermally welding the wall ends together
• Before welding, clean the areas of the sealing wall ends to be welded with webersys 992
• The PVC is welded using a hot air device for sealing wall ends, level 4 to 5, at approximately 350°C to 450°C

Storage: When stored protected from UVE exposure in the original sealed container, the material remains shelf-stable
