Application Area

• Priming, initial coating, adhesion promotion, and pore sealing with water-repellent effect
• For binding powdery substrate surfaces, e.g., ground, absorbent calcium sulfate, and calcium sulfate-based floating coats, for priming cement screeds to improve adhesion of filler, leveling, and smoothing compounds
• As an adhesion promoter on smooth concrete surfaces, highly compacted cement screeds, calcite-based screeds, terrazzo, sandstone, tiles, and slabs when using filler compounds and mortar beds
• As an adhesion promoter on old substrates with adhered filler compounds and adhesive residues
• As a pore sealer on concrete surfaces and cement screeds, preventing the formation of air bubbles during subsequent troweling and preventing the displacement of mixing water during subsequent troweling
• For priming on gypsum, calcium sulfate, and wood chipboards for mortar beds
• As an adhesion promoter on smooth concrete for gypsum-bound wall fillers
• Protective coating for dust binding on filler and leveling compounds that serve as temporary surfaces

Mixing Ratios

• Undiluted: approximately 300 g ARDEX P 51 per m²
• 1 part ARDEX P 51 : ½ part water: approximately 200 g ARDEX P 51
• 1 part ARDEX P 51 : 1 part water: approximately 150 g ARDEX P 51
• 1 part ARDEX P 51 : 3 parts water: approximately 50 g ARDEX P 51
• 1 part ARDEX P 51 : 5 parts water: approximately 30 g ARDEX P 51
