Tubag TNHflex Trass Natural Stone Bonding Slurry Flex

Flexible, natural white bonding slurry for improving the adhesion bond when laying natural stone coverings

Substrate:
The substrates must be frost-free, clean, solid, load-bearing, dimensionally stable, and free of substances that reduce adhesion. TrassNatursteinHaftschlämme flex is suitable for concrete according to DIN 1045, cement screed, and calcium sulfate screed. Underfloor heating screeds according to DIN 18560. Calcium sulfate-bound substrates must be primed with dispersive primer DTG before applying TNHflex. Highly absorbent substrates should be moistened beforehand, avoiding puddling.

Processing:
Pour approximately 6 liters of clean water into a suitable container and mix thoroughly with a 25 kg bag of TrassNatursteinHaftschlämme flex until a homogeneous, knoll-free, processable fluid consistency is achieved, e.g., with a paddle mixer. After a maturation time of about 5 minutes, remix thoroughly. TrassNatursteinHaftschlämme flex is applied as a bonding bridge between substrate and screed mortar using a brush, roller, or trowel, first spread on the substrate, then immediately embed the thick-bed mortar. Depending on the type of natural stone or covering, reactivity, polygonal shape, varying thicknesses, etc., the TrassNatursteinHaftschlämme flex is fully troweled onto the freshly prepared mortar bed or painted onto the cleaned, dust-free underside of the covering. The natural stone or covering material is then pressed in fresh into fresh before skin formation. TrassNatursteinHaftschlämme flex is workable from 5°C to 30°C, considering substrate, air, and material temperature. The processing time is approximately 1 hour.
The fresh mortar must be protected from drying out and adverse weather conditions such as frost, drafts, direct sunlight, and heavy rain. If necessary, cover with foil. Do not work at air and substrate temperatures below 5°C.

Only water may be added to the clean mixture; no other substances. Reprocessed bonding slurry cannot be made workable again with additional water or fresh material.

Yield: A 25 kg bag, mixed properly, yields approximately 19 liters of fresh mortar.
Consumption: 1.0–2.0 kg/m per layer, depending on substrate condition and covering material.
Storage: Keep dry and properly stored.
