Tubag TNHflex Trass Natural Stone Adhesive Slabs flex
Flexible natural white adhesive slabs for improving the bond strength when laying natural stone coverings
nbsp;
- mineral
- white, flexible, hydraulically setting bonding bridges
- additional security against penetration of reactive substances from the substrate or the thick-bed mortar
- is pliable and easy to process
- water and frost-thaw resistant after curing
Application:
- for mechanical connections between hydraulically setting substrates and screeds as well as between screeds and covering materials
- to improve the bond strength when laying highly reactive natural stone slabs according to DIN 18332 and DIN 18352 in the thick-bed method, such as:
- crystalline marble Carrara, Sabiato, Thassos
- limestone slabs Solnhofer, Jura marble, travertine
- basalt, granite
- polygonal slabs porphyry, quartzite
- ceramic coverings stoneware, fine stoneware, mosaics
- split slabs
- concrete stone
- for indoor and outdoor use
- suitable for underfloor heating screeds
Quality & Safety:
- quality monitored
- white cement according to DIN EN 197
- trass according to DIN 51043
- highly polymer-modified
- low in chrome
Substrate:
The substrates must be frost-free, clean, firm, load-bearing, dimensionally stable, and free of substances that reduce adhesion. Tubag TNHflex is suitable for concrete according to DIN 1045, cement screed, and calcium sulfate screed. Heating screeds according to DIN 18560. Calcium sulfate-based substrates must be primed with dispersive primer DTG before applying TNHflex. Highly absorbent substrates should be moistened beforehand, but without causing puddles.
Processing:
Pour approximately 6 liters of water into a clean container and thoroughly and homogeneously mix with a 25 kg sack of Tubag TNHflex until a processable, smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved, e.g., with a stirrer. After a maturation time of about 5 minutes, remix thoroughly. Tubag TNHflex is used as a bonding bridge between substrate and screed mortar, initially applied to the substrate with a trowel, brush, or smoothing trowel, followed immediately by embedding the thick-bed mortar. Depending on the type of natural stone or covering material, reactivity sensitivity, polygonal covering, different covering thicknesses, etc., the Tubag TNHflex is applied full-surface with the tools mentioned on the freshly laid mortar bed or spread on the cleaned, dust-free underside of the covering. The natural stone or covering material is then pressed into the fresh mortar bed before skin formation. Tubag TNHflex is workable from 5°C to 30°C, considering substrate, air, and material. The processing time is approximately 1 hour.
The fresh mortar must be protected from drying out and adverse weather conditions such as frost, drafts, direct sunlight, and rain. If necessary, cover with foil. Do not process at air and substrate temperatures below 5°C.
Only water may be added to the clean water; no other substances should be mixed into Tubag TNHflex. Reprocessed adhesive slabs cannot be reprocessed with additional water or fresh material.
Yield: A 25 kg bag, mixed properly, yields approximately 19 liters of fresh mortar.
Consumption: 1.0–2.0 kg/m² per layer, depending on substrate condition and covering material.
Storage: Keep dry and properly stored.
