weberdur 132 Lime-Cement Lightweight Render Mineral Undercoat Plaster Base Coat Plaster 30kg
Mineral lightweight plaster with rounded EPS additive for the preparation of an undercoat or interior base coat plaster.
Application Area
weberdur 132 is applied indoors and outdoors on masonry according to DIN 1053, especially on high thermal insulation masonry. All mineral and organic surface plasters from weber as well as tiles can be applied over weberdur 132. For less demanding requirements, weberdur 132 can also be used as an embedment plaster with subsequent solvent-free coating indoors.
Product Description
weberdur 132 is a factory-produced mineral dry mortar according to DIN EN 998-1.
Composition
Cement, white lime hydrate, classified mineral aggregates, rounded polystyrene, hydrophobizing agent, additives for improved processing and adhesion.
Product Properties
- Water-repellent
- Vapor-permeable
- Low stress due to a low E-modulus
- Optimally adapts to thermal insulation masonry due to low bulk density and low thermal conductivity
Grain Size approximately 1 mm
Color Tone natural gray
Application Thickness 10 mm to 20 mm
Water Requirement approximately 8 l per 30 kg
Storage
When stored in a dry, moisture-protected environment, the material is storable for up to 1 year.
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust and substances that reduce adhesion. Dense substrates such as concrete require pre-treatment with the mineral bonding bridge weberdur 101 or webertherm 370 as a scratch coat. Observe the curing times after a plaster base treatment. For special building materials, refer to the substrate table. For unsuitable plaster bases, e.g., deviations from DIN 1053 masonry and DIN 18202 tolerances in high-rise construction, concerns must be addressed and remedial action taken. For level and plumb correct application and removal of plaster profiles, use ProfilAnsetzmörtel webermix 125.
Processing
Machine Application
The mortar can be processed with all common plastering machines; see equipment planner.
Hand Application
Thoroughly mix the contents of a bag with the specified amount of water until a workable consistency is achieved. Apply the mortar in the specified thickness of approximately 10-20 mm.
For highly absorbent or variably absorbent substrates, work in two layers wet-on-wet. The first layer should constitute about 2/3 of the total plaster thickness. Immediately after application, level the fresh plaster with a straightedge and remove any nests. Surface of the base coat should be prepared according to the intended subsequent coating. As an interior embedment plaster, apply 3-4 mm the next day, and after setting, roughen or scratch the surface.
