Application Area

• For indoor and outdoor use
• For wall and floor joints
• For grouting joints of ceramic tiles and slabs, small and medium mosaics
• For grouting joints of stoneware and ceramic tiles, stoneware bricks, brick tiles, clinker tiles, and concrete paving stones
• For joint widths from 2 to 8 mm

Substrate Preparation

Immediately after laying the tiles, scrape and clean the joints evenly to a depth equal to the tile thickness. Allow the adhesive or laying mortar to mature.

Processing

Preparation of the joint mortar powder: add mixing water according to the processing data table and stir into a homogeneous, lump-free mortar. For small quantities up to 1 kg, mix by hand thoroughly. Larger quantities should be mixed with a suitable paddle mixer, e.g., from Collomix, attached to a drill.

After a maturation time of approximately 3 minutes, stir again.

Grouting

Process PCI joint mortar in wall and floor areas with a PCI rubber jointing disc. Fill the joints completely with the mortar. If necessary, smooth the surface and, after sufficient setting, wipe with a lightly dampened sponge or sponge board.

After drying, remove any remaining mortar residue with a damp sponge. Do not use a dry cloth for cleaning to avoid re-depositing dried mortar in the still moist joints.
